Fall

I love this time of year! My Mom and Dad grew corn this year and I asked them if I could have the corn stalks. When they brought them to me they also brought me hay, they are so good and kind to me. I also love my front porch. I so enjoy sitting out there mostly in the mornings or late evening so I can watch the sun set. I like being out there by myself, with my ipod and listening to Micheal Buble, but my kids keep finding me, that's okay too then they sit and tell me about their day and I love that.

Kamy and Frogs

With all the rain we have gotten there has been an abundance of FROGS around our house. Kamy has decided she likes them and doesn't even hesitate to pick them up. The other night we found 4 of them. 3 small ones and 1 big one. She decided she needed to kiss the big one before telling it goodbye. It freaks me out, but I don't want her to see that it does.

New School Year

A new school year brings so much fun and excitement! I love this time of year as the weather starts to cool down and the air becomes so cool and crisp, football season, volleyball season, and just as each the seasons change I find that in my own life things are changing. This year I have a Senior and it seems at every turn I realize she will only be here a few short months. Why is it that just as you get them to where they are your best friend they have to go? I feel time has slipped away and I can't bring it back. Yet at the same time I know she will move on and become a wonderful person that hopefully we have helped her become.

And as she moves on I realize I don't get to start over with each one. Her little brother is right on her tail. I hear that once one leaves it goes really fast for the others. I guess that is why Kamy came along so I will have kids around longer.

Having kids in every school in town keeps us hopin'! Tiffany is a Senior and 18, Derek is a Sophmore and 16 (yikes), Jordan is in 8th grade and is a tiny 13 year old soon to be a tiny 14 year old. Aubry is in 6th grade and 12 years old, Melany is in 3rd grade and is 8. And last is Kamy she is 2. With 6 kids, different personalities, lots of activities, and friends our house is never quiet unless it is during sleeping hours.
