I think I get to involved with facebook and forget to blog.
Oh where to start? I was so upset when school started, because it seemed we had no summer. Now here we are and it is FALL, which I LOVE, but wish we still had a few more weeks of summer.
Now, with the kids back in school and I have a lot of time to myself, I am glad school has started. Kamy and I spend our days doing. . . not a lot of anything. She goes to Grandma Louise's (the one she walks to, that is how I know what Grandma she wants to see. The one she walks to or the one she drives to.) And then on Wednesday's and Friday's my mom watches her while I go play volleyball. I am so lucky to have my Mom and Dad around. They help me out a lot with my kids!
Melany gets home about an hour before the other kids. It is nice to have that time with her to do homework or talk. We love being together.
Aubry just finished playing softball. She had fun, but not sure if it was fun enough to do it again. But, she is so excited for volleyball. I can't believe the change in this girls looks, she gets more and more pretty everyday.
Jordan is finally adjusting to high school life. It seems so strange that he is a freshman! I love watching him and Derek together. I hope they are good and kind to one another when they are in public together. BOYS! I love them! NO DRAMA!
So much has happened in Derek's life. He decided to buy a 1977 truck. He drove it only a couple of weeks and the transmission went out. The guy we bought it from was so nice and said he would do some trade work to help fix it, and Uncle Keith helped put it in. He drove it for 2 days and the starter went out. So he and Shea replaced that. They thought they put it in wrong cause it still wouldn't work. Come to find out the starter was faulty! Go figure. Got a new one put in and he drove for 2 days and the engine blew! Not kidding! So through it all Derek has only had to pay about $50.00. He was thinking how grateful he was for that and decided he would bare his testimony about gratitude and told the story of his truck. Well, after the meeting was over Brother Savage in our ward came up to Derek and asked about his truck, what kind, what year. Brother Savage said I want to give you my old truck for parts. I think Derek just about fell over. So now we have Scott (Brother Savage's truck) and Cheyenne (Derek's truck) all torn up changing out the engines. So when it is fixed he will drive it for 2 days and something else will happen!
Some good has come out of it. I asked Derek why he thought this was happening. He said "I have thought about that a lot, I think I am being taught patients." ( which he as very little of but has tried so hard to have.)
As for Tiffany she is good and loving life. Busy working and playing! We miss her.
As for Shea, well I feel so lucky to have him in my life. He makes my world safe! I couldn't have a better best friend! He is the one that said I better post something on our blog. I wish he would post something!
I think that is about it for now! I will try to do better, but don't hold your breath!

Okay, life changes all the time, doesn't it?
I thought I would be watching Tiffany play volleyball for CGCC for the next 6 months, but. . . . . . . as life goes, things change!
Last weekend I was in the valley just having some fun with my sister Ann and with Tiffany. We just get in bed late Saturday night and Tiff says " I think I want to quit volleyball."
"WHAT?" "WHY?" This is something she has wanted for a very long time. I try to act like I am not shocked. . . I swallow hard and say "REALLY?" And she in tears says "ya". Oh boy! What do I say? Fine time for Shea to be out of range of a cell phone call! My mind is racing! Great just great!
Finally, I realize that Sunday is fast sunday for them (stake conference the week before) and I tell her I will fast with her as she tries to sort this out. She also makes a phone call to Grandma Kathy, she was asleep, and then to Uncle Keith also asleep!
Sunday morning, she is walking around pouting! "What is wrong?" I ask her. She cries again! Anyway as the day progresses she gets her answer and it is to not play volleyball! It is really a neat story and would love to share, but it is to long to write and maybe to "special" to put it on here!
So this weekend we went and watched her play in the all star game. . . . . it was a bitter sweet! Why? Because I am sad she won't be playing anymore, yet. . . . . . she is finding herself very fast and becoming such a wonderful person. I am so happy she trusted Heavenly Father enough to let him take control of her life. My heart is so full, my blessings are many! As we were traveling home tonight she said "I love myself!" And we all know how hard that is to do, to admit that to ourselves much less to anyone else! It has taken her along time to say that! Tiffany, just keep it up!I LOVE YOU!
Also, thank you to all who gave the advice! I love my extended family!

20 Years

Shea said this morning, "We had no business getting married." He was referring to having no home, job, or money. Looking at him in this pic he looks 12. We really had no business getting married, we were to young! BUT OH I AM GLAD WE DID!
And me with my neices and nephews at the time.(The one on my lap is on a mission in London, Jake Judd, the one on the lap next to him is Logan Rogers on a mission in Chili, and the one on the floor in front is Trevor Russell on a mission in Russia.) What a difference 20 years makes.
I can't believe how young everyone looks.

My Dad and me at the reception. My dress was a remake of my moms. I would have worn my moms but it was a bit small through the shoulders. She was one tiny lady.

And then me and my sisters. Aren't they so cute!

I really can't believe it has been 20 years. So much has happened. 6 kids, at least 9 jobs, at least 9 different homes, several different cars, vacations, Shea's education, ups and downs! Through it all I have always been able to be a stay at home mom! Shea has always put the kids and I first. Life is so good and I am thankful I get to spend eternity with him!

MOM

First of all this is Tiffany, and second of all my mom doesn't know I'm doing this, and might not for a while, but i just figured this would be a good way to tell her how much i love her. I know i know mothers day is still a few days away but why not get an early start. My mom means the world to me. She is my best friend. She is the one i ask questions like; Does my hair look ok? Is what i have on ok? Can I go out with friends? It's always about me. . . I rarely take the time to see what she has going on or to listen to her and her needs. And the crazy thing about it is she never complains. . I watch her and think how can she do it all?! She has 6 well 7 kids to worry about right now, a busy body three year old, four teenagers and two talkative girls, one husband like twenty loads of laundry of more a week, meals, house cleaning, calling, and then she needs her time which ends up being the twenty minutes she goes tanning. Mom, i don't tell you enough how much I appreciate you. Thank you for all the times you have left me a note telling me you loved me, cleaning up my room, taking me on little day dates and the list goes on. I don't think that words can express the gratitude i feel for you! As the time for me to leave home is getting closer and closer, I am not sure that I can leave you. Who will be the one to comfort me, or to laugh with me, or cry with me? You are an amazing women. If i grow up to be half the mom, half the wife, half the women you are i will be well off! Thank you for helping me strengthen my testimony, thank you for teaching me how to take care of a home. Mom I love you so much! i hope you have a wonderful mothers day, Love your daughter Tiffany

Springtime
I love springtime. I always think that the fall is my favorite, well I still think it is but, there is just something about the springtime that I so love! Could it be my birthday is in the spring, or maybe because my wedding anniversary is in the spring, or it could be because of mothers day?
I had such a good time for my birthday yesterday. I was thinking about the day last night as I went to bed, and thought about all the people that gave birthday wishes, or that I spent time with. I love you all. I felt so much love. My family treats me like a queen, but yesterday they really out did themselves. It was nothing over the top, just their thoughtfulness and the love that I felt from them. My friends, my extended family, my kids friends, my husband! A big thank you!
I do know for sure I love spring because it is EASTER! I love the thought of EVERYTHING coming to life again. As my thoughts have been on my SAVIOR so much this week, I can't help but be grateful for his life, his death, and then of course the Resurrection. I loved all of general conference! It was so good. I think the best talk was Brother Holland's. I love him, I love to listen to him talk. His talk on Christ was so good.
This week for our scripture study we have done the last week of Christ's life. Shea assigned each one of us a day. We study it and then talk about it on that day. It has been wonderful to hear the kids testimony of how they feel about their Savior. Tiffany did such a good job yesterday, and then Derek and Justin had this morning. They are great teachers, and I can feel their spirit as they give us what they have learned. I love that they talk about the things they learn about in seminary. I am looking forward to hear Jordan and Aubry do their day also. And then Melany and I have Sunday! I am so thankful that I have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life.

Funny Kamy
The other day my Mom and Dad came over for Sunday dinner. And this is the conversation that my mom and Kamy had
Grandma: Kamy did you go to church today
Kamy: Yes
Grandma: Are you still in nursery?
Kamy: No, I'm home.
We went to the valley and while we were there we went to a movie, the whole time Kamy wanted to leave, about the last 10 min. of the movie she sat still and watched it, and as we were walking out she was giggling and slapping her leg saying "that the best show I eber seen." She had us all laughing.
I have my nephew living with us, and he had been here for a couple of weeks and then went and saw his family. He told his mom that Kamy is untouchable whatever she wants she gets! And that is a true statement, and it didn't take Justin to long to fit right in to her life. She has him wrapped around her little finger!
By the way I know I have 5 other children and I will try and blog about them too:)

This is Kamy and her friend Emma. Emma lives next door to us and they play so good together. It is so nice to call and ask if Emma can come and play and then we just watch for her to cross the fence and she is here. This was on February 6th Kamy's birthday.

Kamy LOVES Dora. She got Backpack and a Dora cake.

Charece, Tiffany and Melany ready to go the LOBO basketball game. It has been fun to watch the high school kids get so excited about their basketball team they really helped the LOBOS win some home games! There is nothing better than the sixth man!
