Wedding Plans
I feel so overwhelmed at what I need to get done for the wedding. We started making a LIST of what we need and how much it will cost us! YIKES! Of course you have the BIG things like a dress, food, decorations, pictures, the cake, announcements, the horrible list! Then you remember all the little stuff like, slip for her dress, getting her hair done, the video, altering her dress, ties for the guys, skirts for the girls, and what in the heck am I going to wear?Okay so maybe that's not little stuff. At any rate, it all needs done and I hope I can pull it off! Here is a little taste of some of the pictures they took! That's right I got him to hold a Snowflake Lobo flag! It probably won't happen again! They took a lot of cute pictures! It about drove Shea crazy seeing all the kissing ones! So I only posted one!

This is T Jordan Tenney, he will soon be my son-in-law! Yikes, I really can't believe this is happening! I picked this picture to post to show his personality a little bit! He has the funniest sense of humor! His nickname is Junk. That's right Junk, what a name. He lives up to it and a lot more! I think I will start calling him T. We already have a Jordan. I am excited to have him in our family and watch them as they grow together.
Where did the time go? Wasn't she just my LITTLE girl? When we were camping this year Kim said to me "You could have a big year!" Sure enough big year! Wedding in October and then Derek will start his papers for a mission in February. I am thankful I have had good examples in my life of parents and sisters who have gone through all this so I know I CAN live through it! Even though they have all done it, I haven't and I am scared!!!! BUT with that said I am so excited too!

Blogging is frustrating
One reason I HATE blogging is I get so frustrated when I want to do something and I can't figure it out! I am so computer stupid! I need lessons! I try to get Tiff to help me but she looks at me like "really mom? How can you be that dumb?" Oh well, so I will keep plugging along trying to figure it all out.

Turning a new leaf.
"tiff blog for me."
"OK"
Done... Now I have opened the window to a beautiful opportunity for you to start blogging. You can even use my new speedy lap top so you can upload all the pictures you want. Go ahead and express yourself. It's okay to be silly. Or to be sad. or to be sincere. It's like a cyber journal... or possibly a scrapbook. All in favor of Yvette blogging more say I!

Happiness
So a few weeks ago Shea and I were planning this big trip to Vancouver to go to his mission and the dedication of the temple there. Well we started feeling guilty about just us going and not taking our kids (like most parents do). Why do we do that?
So we ended up taking our kids to Disneyland. Was it worth it?. . . . .It sure was! I spent 4 wonderful days with my favorite people. It was great time and we made wonderful memories!
The following Saturday we spent the day working outside in our yard and inside doing some spring cleaning. Even though we were working and working hard, we had such a great time and we made wonderful memories!
Monday night, we sat down for FHE, we were reading the scriptures and I got the giggles. We ended up not finishing reading, but then somehow we got serious again and we ended up having a wonderful talk about doing better as a family some of the kids ended sharing some of their feelings about the gospel. We had such a great time and we made some wonderful memories.
Lately I have felt so completely content with my life. I feel so blessed to have the kids I do! I know they are not perfect, but I am not a perfect mom. I am just grateful that I have the life that I do! Having such a great time and making memories that will last forever!

She is talented...
She is a hard worker ...
She goes after her dreams...
She is selfless...
She is kind...
She serves...
She is a leader...
She likes to have fun...
She has a laugh that makes me smile...
She is a good listener...
She is beautiful...
She loves...
She is spiritual...
She teaches me...
She is a good friend...
She is a model mother...
Happy birthday mom! I know I have said this sooo many times, but if I turn out to be half as good as you, I'll be doing good! Thank you for what you have taught me. Thank you for being patient. Thank you for caring. Thank you for a clean house. Thank you for advice. Thank you for the long talks. Thank you for making me want to be better and helping me get there. Thank you for providing me with a house of love. Thank you for showing me what is important in life like; family and the gospel. Thank you for sharing your testimony. Thank you for making me laugh.
I could go on forever. I know this is a day early, but you deserve to have a few days of praise! (she might not even see this, but at least anyone who reads this will know how much i love her!) YAY for birthdays! Let's party :)
She is the one in the gray sweater :)

Finally a Post
I think I get to involved with facebook and forget to blog.
Oh where to start? I was so upset when school started, because it seemed we had no summer. Now here we are and it is FALL, which I LOVE, but wish we still had a few more weeks of summer.
Now, with the kids back in school and I have a lot of time to myself, I am glad school has started. Kamy and I spend our days doing. . . not a lot of anything. She goes to Grandma Louise's (the one she walks to, that is how I know what Grandma she wants to see. The one she walks to or the one she drives to.) And then on Wednesday's and Friday's my mom watches her while I go play volleyball. I am so lucky to have my Mom and Dad around. They help me out a lot with my kids!
Melany gets home about an hour before the other kids. It is nice to have that time with her to do homework or talk. We love being together.
Aubry just finished playing softball. She had fun, but not sure if it was fun enough to do it again. But, she is so excited for volleyball. I can't believe the change in this girls looks, she gets more and more pretty everyday.
Jordan is finally adjusting to high school life. It seems so strange that he is a freshman! I love watching him and Derek together. I hope they are good and kind to one another when they are in public together. BOYS! I love them! NO DRAMA!
So much has happened in Derek's life. He decided to buy a 1977 truck. He drove it only a couple of weeks and the transmission went out. The guy we bought it from was so nice and said he would do some trade work to help fix it, and Uncle Keith helped put it in. He drove it for 2 days and the starter went out. So he and Shea replaced that. They thought they put it in wrong cause it still wouldn't work. Come to find out the starter was faulty! Go figure. Got a new one put in and he drove for 2 days and the engine blew! Not kidding! So through it all Derek has only had to pay about $50.00. He was thinking how grateful he was for that and decided he would bare his testimony about gratitude and told the story of his truck. Well, after the meeting was over Brother Savage in our ward came up to Derek and asked about his truck, what kind, what year. Brother Savage said I want to give you my old truck for parts. I think Derek just about fell over. So now we have Scott (Brother Savage's truck) and Cheyenne (Derek's truck) all torn up changing out the engines. So when it is fixed he will drive it for 2 days and something else will happen!
Some good has come out of it. I asked Derek why he thought this was happening. He said "I have thought about that a lot, I think I am being taught patients." ( which he as very little of but has tried so hard to have.)
As for Tiffany she is good and loving life. Busy working and playing! We miss her.
As for Shea, well I feel so lucky to have him in my life. He makes my world safe! I couldn't have a better best friend! He is the one that said I better post something on our blog. I wish he would post something!
I think that is about it for now! I will try to do better, but don't hold your breath!
