The other day I was watching Aubry and Melany play cards. They were laughing and having so much fun. I thought about when I was a little girl with my little sister Ann. We had so much fun, didn't we Ann? For some reason I remember fall and playing outside until late evening and then coming in with red and cold hands and putting them down our Dad's neck or our Mom's. I remember playing on the trampoline, the tall yellow flowers in the yard, playing with the Peck's (our neighbors), doing the splits, checking on Grandma, picking an apple from her tree. It was fun being a little girl, and having a built in friend. I love you Ann thank you for the fun memories.

Fall and cold hands....I love those memories too. Especially when you walked in the house and mom was cooking something yummy! Why do all the best memories involve food?
Such a cute blog about your sister! And yes we did have a ton of fun! I unfortunately can't remember alot, but when someone else remembers it brings a flood of good memories to my mind. If I remember right you always kicked my butt at spit and I wasn't a very good competitor for you so mom would step in to keep you going. I hadn't thought about how cold our hands got, but I remember now how chapped they would feel this time of year so when the cold hit it was really cold. I do remember going to school with wet braids and before I could make it to the corner my braids would be frozen. We had lots of fun memories together. We were and always will be the "little girls". Thanks for the memories and I love you too!

Hey the more I look around the more fun I am having at this! I absolutely love looking at the blogs...it's like looking into the heart of everyone you know! I haven't been doing this long, but I find it a great alternative to scrapbooking since I never find the time...I can just take a few pictures of the happenings of the week and there I go...hopefully my kids can look back at this with the same memories! It is funny as I was reading your blog about you and ann and I love to sit and remember...I have so many wonderful memories as a child...and most of it is of family! I am thankful for the legacy that grandma and grandpa left us of keeping close as a family. I do miss getting to know you better walking with you last year..and I am very thankful to have had the chance. Your a great Mom!
